NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake tells his story on “60 Minutes”

The government has charged Thomas Drake, a former National Security Agency employee, with betraying his country.  On 60 Minutes Sunday, Drake responded to the charges, explaining that he followed official procedure in revealing internally problems with technology purchased by the NSA to detect terrorists. Those efforts failed to bring needed change.  Because of those problems, Drake says, the NSA lost an opportunity to stop the 9/11 attacks. Read more at CBS News.
