Army Settles Bunnatine Greenhouse Lawsuit

Fans of whistleblower Bunnatine “Bunny” Greenhouse are celebrating the resolution of her lawsuit against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  In a court-approved settlement, Greenhouse will receive $970,000 for lost wages, compensatory damages and attorney fees. London Police Investigate Death of NOTW Whistleblower

 Police are investigating the death of Sean Hoare, the “former News of the World reporter who first claimed that Andy Coulson knew of phone hacking by his staff,” found dead at his home on July 18.

Hertfordshire police described the death as ”unexplained, but not thought to be suspicious.”

DOJ drops ten charges against NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake

With its case collapsing, the Department of Justice agreed on Thursday to drop ten criminal charges against NSA whistleblower Thomas Drake.  In exchange, Drake agreed to plead guilty Friday to one misdemeanor count of “exceeding authorized use of a computer.”  Sentencing is scheduled for July 15.
